How Property Finder replaced 100-person meetings with one Friday update

Property Finder is the leading real estate portal in the Middle East and North Africa, connecting property seekers with agents, brokerages, and developers. Founded in Dubai in 2005, it now operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, and Turkey.
Every team had its own system. Nobody had the full picture.
Property Finder is one of the fastest-shipping product organizations in MENA. But for a long time, internal velocity created a paradox: the faster they shipped, the harder it became for the rest of the company to keep up.
Before LaunchNotes, product updates were distributed across a sprawl of well-intentioned but incompatible systems. Every department had its own channel, its own format, and its own timeline. No two updates looked alike. Nothing connected. The result wasn't just inefficiency — it was visible organisational dysfunction. The moment that captured it best: a customer sitting across the table from a Property Finder sales rep, asking about a feature they'd just been emailed about. The sales rep had no idea what they were talking about. Property Finder, the region's leading property platform, was being caught out by its own announcements.
The CRO, CPO, and CMO met repeatedly to discuss it. Leadership knew they needed a single source of truth. But no single team could own the solution — and with high staff churn at the time, every attempt to fix it ran out of steam before it took hold.
"We were shipping features regularly, but updates to customer-facing teams were getting lost in emails, threads, messages, meetings. It was causing internal conflicts, misalignments, distrust — and most importantly, a jarring customer experience that made PF look disorganised."
Nader Rehaan M, Senior Manager, B2B Product Marketing, Property Finder
One product marketer decided to own the problem.
Nader Rehaan, Senior Manager of B2B Product Marketing, had seen enough. Rather than waiting for a cross-functional initiative that kept stalling, he went looking for a solution himself — evaluating multiple platforms before landing on LaunchNotes.
His criteria were deliberate: the solution had to be easy to understand, easy to implement, and easy to repeat. Those three things were the only way to drive adoption and usage.
"Nothing turned up that was as simple, intuitive, or familiar as LaunchNotes. The familiar layout, the ability to add labels for geographic locations, categories, and weekly digests — it kind of nailed what we needed without overcomplicating it."

Internal buy-in was the harder problem. Everyone at Property Finder acknowledged the dysfunction — but after years of failed attempts, colleagues were understandably reluctant to commit to another system. The VP of B2B Marketing trusted Nader's instinct and approved the first trial.
Getting up and running took about two weeks of real effort. The lesson: sometimes the simple setup is the right setup. LaunchNotes ran as a standalone platform with manual weekly updates — and it worked immediately.
People walked over to say thank you.
Within the first week of launch, traffic to the LaunchNotes domain was growing daily. Something that hadn't happened before: people from different departments and corners of the office came to find Nader — not with complaints, but to say how good the platform was. The simplicity worked. The format worked. People actually used it.
When the weekly digest launched a month in, open rates exceeded 85%. Not a drip campaign — an internal product update email, read by more than 85% of recipients, every week.
- Sales reported 100% satisfaction in product release awareness — for the first time in years
- CX reported an 88% drop in cases of misalignment or lack of information when addressing customer concerns
- Leadership called it one of the best and most efficient solutions implemented at Property Finder
- The CEO featured it in the monthly company magazine as the top company-wide announcement
- Used for 15+ months and renewed — the tool that finally stuck
What it looks like now
The whole org runs on a Friday-to-Monday rhythm.
LaunchNotes is now the organisation's single source of truth for product communications. The process is simple enough that it actually holds:
Every team — Sales, CX, Support, Marketing, Leadership — starts the week with the same information. No more contradictory newsletters. No more 2-hour meetings to align on what shipped. No more sales reps hearing about features from customers before they hear from their own product team.
